The company policy is very supportive but as always it’s always subject to having that information and having a line Manager who is aware. Many people who don’t know better have suffered as a result of it. The company are trying to make it easier to retain women after maternity. I’ve been invited to give talks and attend meetings to discuss this. I got a promotion two months after maternity.
