LENGTH OF PAY
Basic Statutory Maternity Pay – Payment for 39 weeks
LENGTH OF SERVICE TO BE ELIGIBLE
To qualify for statutory maternity pay an employee has to have 26 weeks continuous service with the one (current) employer by the beginning of the fifteenth week before the expected week of childbirth (EWC)

Parent reviews
There was not a lot of flexibility around family commitments. Any change to the full time contractual requirements were decided at managers discretion and not often encouraged so as ‘not to encourage others to remake similar requests’
