Compared to other companies Philips had an admirable approach to with parents and families. However I found that this was manager led, not necessarily HR led so I may have been lucky in my experience. I was however one of the many and unlucky women in the UK to have found myself made redundant during my mat leave, which is still very common and needs addressing at ground level in the UK.
